Hello August!

Alright... so here I am, posting. Keeping up so far with my vow to post daily in August. Lately I've been feeling a huge lack of creativity and had been becomming very frustrated (I have been trying way too hard to force it), but last night I stumbled across this blog and was so inspired by almost everything this awesome woman does! She is the writer of "bend the rules sewing" - a book I coincidentally have been eyeing for a while now. I spent about an hour reading her blog (I love finding a really good blog and going back as far as I can reading it) and after that I had so many fun ideas swimming around in my head that I had to pull out a notebook and write them down or I would forget most of the awesomeness by morning.

So, since I joined the big blog challenge for August.. here is today's entry. We were told to go draw a house at Drawahuse.com. This is my house and what it says about me.

Last night I discovered that as a free member on flickr I can only have 3 photosets, and I got pretty bummed because we can't afford the $25 right now for me to register... BUT! MATT GOT A NEW JOB!! He is going to be making *alot* more than he is now - almost Alberta wages. Plus, the hours are 9-6 M-F and he will get full benefits and RSP contributions. Faaancy. It's in the investment field. When he came home from the interview, they had given him a little tin of 'investMINTS'. I thought it was clever and based on that I decided they must be a very good employer. They had also given him a fancy notepad, pen and folder. When I found that out after seeing the mints, I was practically over the moon about this new job. Yes, I am obviously one of those people easily swayed by cororate bribery, no matter how insignifigant. Anyways, the point of that long winded paragraph was that SOON I can buy a better flickr membership and start posting photos like crrraaaazy! My plan is to buy a DSLR after our wedding.

Anyways.... much to be done around here... until tommorrow my friends ;P
