My First Job

I started my first job when I was 17... as a cashier at the Western Canadian chain London Drugs. I worked as a cashier for one year, and then moved into the cosmetic department where I worked for one more year. I got paid crappy wages, but I stayed there longer than any other job I've ever had for some unknown reason (fear of change? lol).. AND I met my very best friend Courtney while working there. I think that first job really changed me as a person and helped me become more outgoing and less anxious in social situations.

Sometimes we stay even though we don't know why. But it all becomes clear later. You met a friend, that could be the reason.....

Unlike my first job, yours did not involve fast food as is the typical thing as far as first jobs go. All good things come to those who wait and you found a good friend. Kudos!
