Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells

Ahhhhhhhhh. I went shopping today, and boy did I ever do a good job! ha :) Our Christmas stuff got ruined this summer when water came into our basement, so I went on a search for new Christmas lovelies. I picked up a tree, some super cute ornaments, a VERY sparkly star topper, and some little pieces for my Christmas village! It's beginning to look decorated in here.... I should set it up nicely and take some photos soon.

I just love how all of the stores decorate and play carols during the holidays... I know a lot of people get annoyed by it, or think that stores start too early, but for me the earlier the better. I was in heaven doing my grocery shopping today, lol. I am such a dork!

It doesn't feel Christmass-y outside here yet at all - this is the longest fall I have ever had! PEI has a really rainy autumn, and we have yet to have a good snow. I'm not saying that this is bad, but it is definitely different than Alberta fall. I'm a bit trepidatious about the PEI winter but am trying not to judge before I have experienced..

Tag production has been way up the last few days, here are some photos of some of my new stuff:

These are all available in the shop nowI'm hoping to make tag and note card sets soon :) What would you like to see in the shop? I'm really trying to work on bulding inventory these days... oh and expect new packaging soon!

I'm going to finish up this post with a bit of exciting news - my "Holiday Joy" card is being featured on Scrapscene.com tomorrow!! Scrapscene is a hugely popular site that showcases the best in papercrafts and scrapbooking.. I read it daily! I am so honored to be featured! Go check it out - they post a tutorial on how to make the card step by step.

I love stores that get right into Christmas now. When I worked at one, it was always nice for a while and then it got annoying, then it got to the point where the music was tuned out! It sucks that your Christmas stuff got wrecked, hopefully there wasn't too much of a sentimental type in there. I haven't even thought about buying Christmas decorations yet, you are way ahead of me. I haven't even gone through what we have to see what we need!
On the subject of Christmassy weather, I know I will regret writing this, lol, but we seem to have unnaturally low amounts of snow here so far. It started off a lot later in the season too. I don't worry about it because one day I will go to sleep and wake up to a foot or so of it overnight!
Congrats on having your card featured, that is wonderful and I will be looking forward to it!! Also, thanks for the link to that site (like I needed ANOTHER scrap site to check out regularly, haha) They show some nice stuff!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

congrats! I will have to remember to check it out! Last year we moved into home a week before Christmas... the first things out of the boxes were the christmas decorations. But to my horror we didn't have any christmas ornaments... I had to be very creative. So I am looking forward to having plenty of time to decorate this year! I have already started wrapping presents. And about snow-I am jealous that you get snow at all. All it does is rain here in Portland! Blaaaah~
